Ever wonder what to do with your dress AFTER the wedding? Hang it in your closet for 40 years? Brides all over the country have been taking their dresses and creating art and memories in trash the dress sessions, ranging from getting them slightly dirty to lighting them on fire in the name of art. We’re excited to feature a local trash the dress session, photographed by Autumn Cutaia Photography and taking place just outside of Denver, at Golden Gate State Park.
From the photographer:
The inspiration for the shoot was that Corinne and Corey are true free spirits and love to be on the road with Corey’s Harley. We also knew we wanted to do something wild and out of the ordinary, so we decided that Corinne splashing around in the lake would be the absolute perfect idea. The sun was setting perfectly as she got into the freezing cold lake. It was so cold! These two decided to have a trash the dress session because brides usually only wear that dress once and getting fun and romantic photos with your spouse in such a cool way is completely worth getting a little dirty.
